Drama

Here I am again after another day of tiredness and studies and right now , at 10:30 at night , I'm literally falling asleep from exhaustion. Why do they make students write Physics practicals when all we are going to do is copy from each other and make sure that we get the marks. Seeing that I dont want to go off into the direction of our country's poor education system, lets see what interesting things happened today.

Ah! I promised P(goddamn man you don't need anonymity for a case of stomach upset), a friend of mine, that he would have a paragraph of his own and so, here goes..Yesterday, this clown of a man, abruptly got out of his seat during a not so interesting class, whispered something to the teacher and then took off with his bag never to be seen in the day again. Investigations(which comprised of harassing him till he told the truth)uncovered that he just had a simple gas problem because of drinking a bottle of pepsi right after some juice or so he leads us to believe. The man, literally walked out of class because he couldnt contain a few farts. Damn!!

Now, lets come to the part of the discussion where I write about the most discussed topic of my co-students this week. This Sunday, a few of my friends went to "enjoy" themselves at the nicco amusement park and I, unfortunately, couldnt be present because of my grandpa's situation. They enjoyed themselves and everything went well until those intellectuals decided to play a game of Truth or Dare. I have never seen any other game  which has  broken more friendships than this one.

A little back story should be in context here. Since the sex ratio of our class is close to 0.1186, there are bound to be some jealousy or two here or there. This is a conundrum that I'm facing right now. Should I tell this story or shouldnt I? Gah! I'm not afraid. Lets spill it. There is a girl(G) in my class and she has relatively more suitors than the other girls in my class. A boy(X) is in blind love(or lust?) with G but ,as is common in India, he didnt have the guts to tell her that and wanted to win her over with his charm. That's fine and there is nothing wrong with that but like in any Masala Bollywood Movie, the girl didnt think much about him and went on with her life.

Then there comes the boy(R) that G has a slight crush on and they talk like normal besties impervious to what the outside world thinks of their friendship. A Classic Love Triangle. R and G were friends for a long ass time and with X falling for G just about 10 days ago, there was a chance of someone getting their heart broken even before the trip had started.

Coming back to the Sunday event, since I was not present there, I havent seen any of the following things happening before my own eyes and I have just put the bits and pieces together to gather a believable story right here. During the outdated game being played, the bottle turned towards G and with that catastrophic stop in front of her, she was ,obviously, asked who she liked more, R or X, and all this time both of them were, I presume, looking towards her with eager eyes. She said the words,"Of course R" and  This.Means.War.

X was an innocent man who never had his heart broken before and he was dumbstruck with these words. Unable to hide his tears before the very woman he loved and to keep his ego intact in front of his smirking rival(Disclaimer! Some parts may have been overly dramatized as a part of artistic licence), he left their play mid-way and excused himself to the washroom and never came back to the spot of that ominous game.

Fast-forward to today where X had somewhat accepted his fate and R had consoled X as a good friend but circumstances which were unforeseeable led to the rift between people who were once fast friends. This rivalry will now become greater in the not so distant future and who knows? We might have a Civil War because of it .

And if something like that happens, always remember that you heard it first from your boy, Ashu.

Poof! This was a tiring day and I dont know about you but I'm going to sleep right now. No,No,No,No, this cant be happening. I just remembered that I have to write the experiment number 8 in my physics class notebook. Shit!!!

Bye guys and as always I will see you in my next post. Buh-Bye!

Alright people, I'm not gonna lie when I say that I was trying something new when I wrote the last one. It's apparently called the pseudo-truth method of writing. This happens when the narrator describes something from the first person point of view which may or may not be the truth. It certainly consists of things which are actually present in the real world in the vicinity of the narrator. In my case, I took the route from my college to my grandparents' house and escalated into this story. Well, can you blame me? I get bored in that God-Awful 2 hour journey and think of these things. I'm weird that way. Anyways, it's my bad that I didn't give you all a heads up and some people were genuinely concerned about my sanity. It feels good to be loved though. Link:  Click me This type of narration intrigues me and I'm gonna continue writing two or more stories like this. I should also say that I got this idea from reddit and you guys should definitely chec...

I was rage-baited

Time to get my creative juices floating again. I have been doing the video and audio format for so long now that it seems like the written format is not getting the love it deserves. It makes sense though since the written format takes the most time to create with how organized I have to make my thoughts. I can ramble on in the other ones but not this one. I know, first world problems in a third world country. I was talking to a friend in Jamshedpur ( Percy ) a few days ago about the deets in the big man city and got to know about an interesting development. There was a get together of some of my friends last week due to the 30th wedding anniversary of Mr. Hunter 's parents and from the photos, it seemed like a grand old money level party but I digress. In the party, Percy wanted to have some fun at my expense the reason of which I still do not know. I swear I have never made fun of him and bhabi ji ever with the mama y papa jokes in front of others but I believe it's time to ...

Thought Exercise - Part 1

If I had only known what was about to happen, I would probably have preferred to stay at home today... or maybe not. After Nolan's last movie "Oppenheimer", I thought that the first day first show would have to be a necessary watch and booked a ticket at AMB cinemas. I woke up early in the morning (earlier than I would have intended) and in my excitement, went 1 hour before I actually had to, to watch the movie. Probably should have stayed home a little bit longer and who knows? The awkward situation might not have arrived. I reached the theater 1 hour early and decided to roam the mall by myself. I tell myself that I went alone because no one is a bigger Nolan fan than I am but in reality, everyone was busy in their own life. Being the only bachelor in the friend group gives me a lot of time to explore alone because other people are busy being boring. I went to the food court to get myself a chicken roll and that's when I saw her. I had not seen that face in a long t...
