Feud II and Recurring Interest

The title of the post is weird, isnt it? That's because of a break that I took and people are on my ass right now to write more. Thus today, I'll end the story which I wrote about six days ago and then some more (Naming it Recurring Interest was the idea of an avid reader of my posts and I thank you for that).

So as it goes, I now know that most people are a sensitive mess and they wont let me write about them even when I'm Making You Anonymous. B, from the last post called me up and said not to write about his precious GF anymore and I'll respect his demands {grudgingly}. However, it is a relief to know that our enmity had other areas as well and thus today I'll write about the other parts.

If I'm being honest about things here, I dont really remember the cause of our second fight and I'm mostly writing from imagination at this point of time. But Hey! If the final story is juicy, then why not take advantage of the artistic licence I get?

I think that the fateful day which I talked about in the previous post was a day when the results of our coaching bi-monthly test had arrived and no one in our group had done particularly well (I'm trying to be humble here ). During the recess, we met in a classroom and talked about bullshit like we usually did. Now, I didn't know that B had  a bad score and he was really upset that day due to some other problems as well [wink, wink].By today, all of you know that I'm a nosey little bastard and , well, the inevitable happened again. The specifics involved me calling him by softly hitting him at the back of his head and he retaliating by scratching the balls out of my face. Literally, his long nails caused a mean scar.

Those days I was a bit of a  tattle-tale or rather a complain-box as the kids say and pretty soon, I dont know how, the matter reached to the principal. We both had to "resolve our issues" in front of her and had to give her an apology letter and that was the starting point of one of the greatest rivalries our classes had ever seen.

I use the term rivalry in a loose sense because the word signifies people trying to cut each other's throats and people hell bent on getting revenge. Ours was like a Cold-War. We completely ignored the existence of the other during these 2 years and boy! It was a nightmare. Since we had a lot of mutual friends, it got kind of difficult to communicate at  first because they didnt know about the case.

Pretty soon everyone found out about it and one thing that we silently agreed on(while, of course, ignoring the other's existence) was that we never forced our friends to choose one over the other and everyone got along nicely, except , well, you guys are smart.

There was more or less peace in our class after that and we finally set aside our differences after the results of Class 12 boards and JEE Advanced was declared. You see, we both had or rather I had shit marks in these exams and our mutual loss resulted in the revival of the friendship.

That was one of the long time rivalries of my life (Yes! There are more but those are stories for some other day). Today we are fast friends and get along well. There is a birthday treat which he still owes me and hopefully I'll have it in the days to come.

Phew! That was a long emotional story and sorry if I made some of you cry right now. Since I promised you guys something extra today, lets talk about the five day break that I had when I went back to Jamshedpur

It was a pleasant surprise to hear that February 10 to 15 was declared as holidays for some induction program. However, no induction program held in this World will stop Engineering students from going home and having a rest for these many days. Hence, there I was at the station at 5 in the morning, waiting for the train to go home. I could make this a class 2 essay by describing what I saw at the station and how I felt but lets just skip that part.

I ,almost, gave my mom a heart attack because she was not expecting to see me then and there and well, you know how mothers are. She showered me with kisses and my favorite thing in the World, F-O-O-D. If junk food were to be classified as drugs, I would be high for Life. Yeah! Life couldnt have been more amazing.

Turns out, my mother had made plans of watching Padmaavat with her friend and so I tagged along. Remember in the last paragraph when I said life couldnt have been more amazing, Karma acted and balanced life out. This was the worst movie I had seen in ages, the only exception in the adjective being the acting of a certain person named Mr. Singh. Like, Seriously, the good guy died because he had an ego the size of Mt. Everest. If you guys still want to throw away your hard earned money, I wont stop you from seeing this thing. Enjoy!

It's 11:30 right now and I want to sleep. Let's stop it right here and maybe I'll continue this line of thought in my next post.

Thank you Ladies and not-so-gentle men for reading this looooong post and as always I'll see you in the next post. Buh-Bye!

Alright people, I'm not gonna lie when I say that I was trying something new when I wrote the last one. It's apparently called the pseudo-truth method of writing. This happens when the narrator describes something from the first person point of view which may or may not be the truth. It certainly consists of things which are actually present in the real world in the vicinity of the narrator. In my case, I took the route from my college to my grandparents' house and escalated into this story. Well, can you blame me? I get bored in that God-Awful 2 hour journey and think of these things. I'm weird that way. Anyways, it's my bad that I didn't give you all a heads up and some people were genuinely concerned about my sanity. It feels good to be loved though. Link:  Click me This type of narration intrigues me and I'm gonna continue writing two or more stories like this. I should also say that I got this idea from reddit and you guys should definitely chec...

I was rage-baited

Time to get my creative juices floating again. I have been doing the video and audio format for so long now that it seems like the written format is not getting the love it deserves. It makes sense though since the written format takes the most time to create with how organized I have to make my thoughts. I can ramble on in the other ones but not this one. I know, first world problems in a third world country. I was talking to a friend in Jamshedpur ( Percy ) a few days ago about the deets in the big man city and got to know about an interesting development. There was a get together of some of my friends last week due to the 30th wedding anniversary of Mr. Hunter 's parents and from the photos, it seemed like a grand old money level party but I digress. In the party, Percy wanted to have some fun at my expense the reason of which I still do not know. I swear I have never made fun of him and bhabi ji ever with the mama y papa jokes in front of others but I believe it's time to ...

Thought Exercise - Part 1

If I had only known what was about to happen, I would probably have preferred to stay at home today... or maybe not. After Nolan's last movie "Oppenheimer", I thought that the first day first show would have to be a necessary watch and booked a ticket at AMB cinemas. I woke up early in the morning (earlier than I would have intended) and in my excitement, went 1 hour before I actually had to, to watch the movie. Probably should have stayed home a little bit longer and who knows? The awkward situation might not have arrived. I reached the theater 1 hour early and decided to roam the mall by myself. I tell myself that I went alone because no one is a bigger Nolan fan than I am but in reality, everyone was busy in their own life. Being the only bachelor in the friend group gives me a lot of time to explore alone because other people are busy being boring. I went to the food court to get myself a chicken roll and that's when I saw her. I had not seen that face in a long t...
