Bittu's Day Out

See what I did with the title here, eh? I know, I know the reference is a lame one but its still kinda funny though! As it suggests, this day was a fun one {except for the class test part in the first half; The paper was too F-ing difficult}.Remembering the class test makes me feel sad all over again but hey, this is Thermodynamics we are talking about. You should score bad in this subject.

The day, 21st February, started a little early for me as I had to get up at 6 a.m to see off my father who was going to Agartala and inwardly cussing the airline who couldnt have a flight at the better times of the day. At 8, I started my 2 hour long journey towards the university. I couldnt even keep my calm before a nervousness-inducing exam because of the clown who boarded the bus with me  (Throwback: 'A', from Normal Teenage Stuff).

The exam went as expected... BAD and then we were off to the Physics lab to perform yet another boring experiment which we somehow managed to complete in record time. The freaking last one to complete in the class! You guys are probably laughing at these problems right now and calling me a cry-baby. Go on! I'll wait till you finish........Oh! Completed? Then let's go to the cool part of the day.

During Lunch Time, I was thinking about going back peacefully to my home and sleep off this bad day. My friends had a good plan.. or rather 2 good plans for the first time in their lives. The first choice was watching  the amazing "Black Panther" with one set of them and the second was going to another institute which was conveniently located right next to the route to my house. The event boasted the speech of an Astrophysicist giving a speech free of cost and almost all the hotshot "Padhakus" of my class were going to the latter event.

Even though this following statement may draw hate from some people, the decision was kind of a no-brainer. As much as I would liked to have gone to listen to the speech, this is a Marvel Movie for Krishna's Sake! Thus, Off we went to Wakanda!

The tickets were relatively cheap at 160 per person including GST at Cinepolis and there we were at the last row with the 3D glasses already on our eyes, hoping to connect ourselves to the latest happenings of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and getting excited because this is the last movie we see before Thanos shows who he really is!!!

Enough fan-boying for today and I wont discuss the specifics for all those idiots who haven't seen this movie till now. (Don't look at me! I had my exams. This is a valid reason).

After those thrilling 2 hours, we got out of the mall and collectively decided that we were hungry. The enthusiasm with which everyone put forward this idea was directly proportional to the body weight and I can proudly say that , be in any group, I will be the "healthiest" person there. We, then, roamed about the mall looking for some restaurants in Google Maps as the Food Courts in the Mall were pretty full. After eating some moderately disgusting food at a place named Silver Platter and rating it -1 on Google, we went on our separate ways towards our homes and thankfully getting the required rest that our ....or rather my body needs after a long fruitful day!

It's almost 9:30 now and I need to finish this post here because of some urgent ( just kidding, no work that I do is ever urgent) work that I have to do now.

Thank you guys so much for reading and as always I will see you in the next post. Buh-Bye!!

Alright people, I'm not gonna lie when I say that I was trying something new when I wrote the last one. It's apparently called the pseudo-truth method of writing. This happens when the narrator describes something from the first person point of view which may or may not be the truth. It certainly consists of things which are actually present in the real world in the vicinity of the narrator. In my case, I took the route from my college to my grandparents' house and escalated into this story. Well, can you blame me? I get bored in that God-Awful 2 hour journey and think of these things. I'm weird that way. Anyways, it's my bad that I didn't give you all a heads up and some people were genuinely concerned about my sanity. It feels good to be loved though. Link:  Click me This type of narration intrigues me and I'm gonna continue writing two or more stories like this. I should also say that I got this idea from reddit and you guys should definitely chec...

I was rage-baited

Time to get my creative juices floating again. I have been doing the video and audio format for so long now that it seems like the written format is not getting the love it deserves. It makes sense though since the written format takes the most time to create with how organized I have to make my thoughts. I can ramble on in the other ones but not this one. I know, first world problems in a third world country. I was talking to a friend in Jamshedpur ( Percy ) a few days ago about the deets in the big man city and got to know about an interesting development. There was a get together of some of my friends last week due to the 30th wedding anniversary of Mr. Hunter 's parents and from the photos, it seemed like a grand old money level party but I digress. In the party, Percy wanted to have some fun at my expense the reason of which I still do not know. I swear I have never made fun of him and bhabi ji ever with the mama y papa jokes in front of others but I believe it's time to ...

Thought Exercise - Part 1

If I had only known what was about to happen, I would probably have preferred to stay at home today... or maybe not. After Nolan's last movie "Oppenheimer", I thought that the first day first show would have to be a necessary watch and booked a ticket at AMB cinemas. I woke up early in the morning (earlier than I would have intended) and in my excitement, went 1 hour before I actually had to, to watch the movie. Probably should have stayed home a little bit longer and who knows? The awkward situation might not have arrived. I reached the theater 1 hour early and decided to roam the mall by myself. I tell myself that I went alone because no one is a bigger Nolan fan than I am but in reality, everyone was busy in their own life. Being the only bachelor in the friend group gives me a lot of time to explore alone because other people are busy being boring. I went to the food court to get myself a chicken roll and that's when I saw her. I had not seen that face in a long t...
